A good credit policy defines payment terms, deadlines and <a href=\"https:\/\/btla.eu\/en\/law\/micro-flat-rate\/\">debt collection procedures<\/a>.  The entrepreneur should clearly communicate with customers about these conditions already at the stage of establishing cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_code _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; In case of delays, it is worth contacting the debtor and asking about the reasons, but immediate response to any arrears is crucial.<\/p>\n<h2>Sending reminders and reminders<\/h2>\n<p>If the debtor is late with payment, it is worth sending him a reminder about the arrears. This may be an e-mail, registered letter or telephone reminder. As the period of arrears increases, more formal reminders can be made, informing the debtor of the legal consequences.  <\/p>\n<h2>Using the pre-litigation stage<\/h2>\n<p>If, despite taking independent actions, the debt cannot be recovered, it is worth using the services of a lawyer. <a href=\"https:\/\/btla.eu\/en\/law\/micro-flat-rate\/\">Sending a request for payment<\/a> or contacting a lawyer with the debtor often allows you to obtain money from the debtor.<\/p>\n<h2>Filing a court case<\/h2>\n<p>The last resort, when all previous actions have failed, is to file a lawsuit against the debtor. You then obtain an enforcement title with which you go to the Bailiff&#8217;s Office to start enforcement proceedings. <\/p>\n<h2>Future transaction security<\/h2>\n<p>After resolving a case with a given debtor, it is worth implementing preventive measures to avoid similar situations in the future. This may include changing payment terms, requiring financial collateral, or assessing the credibility of potential customers more thoroughly. <\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, effective debt recovery requires flexibility, consistency and the ability to effectively manage customer relationships. Implementing clear payment rules, regular monitoring of payments and quick response to any arrears are key elements in preventing and solving problems related to debtors.
